It’s your fifth time at the gym, and you walk into the front doors a little bit frustrated. It’s not your fifth time this week, it’s your fifth time this month. You just can’t seem to stick to a plan. Your gym days are scattered throughout the month, and some days you have the motivation to go two days in a row… and other days it’s a different story. You aren’t seeing the results you want. When will you start to see your hard work show?
The key to seeing progress in the gym is a simple word but not an easy task to accomplish. The word is consistency. In order to see results, you need to be consistent in whatever steps you are taking to reach your goal. Whether you want to be able to lose belly fat, squat heavier weight, or run for 20 minutes, being consistent is the difference between reaching your goals and not achieving everything you have envisioned in your head.
There are ways you can start small to finally
learn to be consistent in the gym. Complete small tasks daily that you force yourself to be consistent with. Making your bed can be one example. As soon as you do this, you will be able to take on a bigger challenge, like going to the gym four days a week.
